Updates on additions to the library

Question:  "I was reading an old article regarding the library's opening in 2014.  In this article, it discussed the addition of touch screens on the bookshelves for catalog access and the addition of a coffee vendor as well.  Are there any updates on these additions?"

Response:  We've had  touch screens for catalog access  at the end of three of our bookshelves for about six months.  The cafe, according to Moorestown Library Director Joe Galbraith, "is in the works."

Teen Programming

To the patron who requested more teen programming:

Thank you for your suggestions. The library has an active programming agenda in which tweens and teens in grades 4+ experience a variety of hands-on "maker" activities including cake decorating, jewelry making, cartooning, tie-dye, and origami/kirigami.  We are always interested in hearing directly from teens about additional programs they would enjoy, and we think computer programming is an idea worth exploring.  It would be most helpful if your teenager(s) could offer us some specific suggestions of what type of computer programming classes they wish to attend at the library.

Password question

Question:  "Why is there no way to reset a password?  I have to come into the library and ask you to do it?  Every other website in the world has a password reset."

Response:  We agree that this is a useful feature to have.  We've added a "forgot your PIN" link to our catalog that will send a reset link to the email address in your patron record.

Purchase request

Request:  Five Nights at Freddy's:  The Silver Eyes
