Sign up today for: You Too Can Quilt

This six-week class teaches the basics of quilting.  Even if you don't know how to thread a needle, you can learn to quilt.  Join us in a class for beginners and learn to quilt a simple block which can be expanded into a nice size lap quilt or a small wall hanging.

A sewing machine is not needed, but is helpful.  Come join the fun and learn to quilt!

When:  Mondays from 6:30-8:30 p.m.:  September 14, 21, 28 & October 5, 12, 19

Where:  Moorestown Library, Meeting Room B

This program is free, but registration is REQUIRED as the class is LIMITED TO SIX.

Come Experience the Peaceful Culture of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community


The Women Association of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community will be offering a free informational seminar about their culture, beliefs, and way of life.  This group will also be sharing ethnic recipes and henna designs.

When:  Monday, August 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Response:  To view your list of check-outs, click on "My Account" from our homepage.  Then after adding your name, barcode and PIN (personal identification number) inside the designated boxes, you will click "submit" to be taken to your account where you will see the items that you have checked out of the library.

National Read-A-Romance Month: August 1-31

First observed in 2013, this month-long celebration urges readers to pick a novel to read from the romance genre.  Annually, the month of August.  Click here for more information.

Participate in the Children's Summer Reading Program before it ends!

Children entering grades 2-6  have until August 15th to come to the library to tell us about books that they have read this summer.  Participants may report on up to 3 books per day.  Children who report on 5-9 books will win a prize from the grab box.  Children who report on 10 books or more will win a Barnes & Noble gift card.  The more you read, the bigger the gift card!

Participate in the Teen Summer Reading program before it ends!

Teens entering grades 7 and up have until August 15th to read and review books for a chance to win awesome prizes like gift cards to Barnes & Noble, iTunes, Starbucks, the Mall and more.  It's as easy as 1-2-3:
1.  Read books and fill out a short book review form.
2.  Give your review to a children's librarian, and we'll give you a raffle ticket.
3.  Fill out your raffle ticket, drop it in the can, and cross your fingers!
If you don't win a grand prize, don't despair!  Just about everyone will win something.  At the end of the summer, if you've read 3-5 books, you can choose a prize from the prize box.  Read 6-9 books for the prize box PLUS a drawstring bag.  Read 9+ books and you get the prize box, the bag and your choice of a book to keep!
