May 31: Local author showcase: Donna Gottardi

Meet Donna Gottardi

Donna Gottardi is a professor of sociology, social problems, diversity, immigration, Spanish, and gender studies. Most recently, Donna worked as a foreign expert in Shanghai, Guangzhou and in rural northeast China, the latter of which become the catalyst for her first published work entitled Raining Cats and Rats. The book catalogues Donna’s work as an educator and newcomer to small-town China and the surprises she encountered as the first-ever Westerner hired to live and work in the region by the Chinese Bureau of Education.

Join us at Moorestown Library for a question and answer session on Thursday, June 7 at 7 p.m. with Donna Gottardi and other local authors.

Registration is REQUIRED as space is limited. Please call 234-0333 or stop by the Reference Desk to reserve your place today!
